When we decided to discover the Bodensee - Vorarlberg region, we looked for a cosy, extraordinary ((and a bit luxury) house. Situated in the 'middle' between Bregenz and Feldkirch we immediately felled in love for the Mesmerhouse as our 'basecamp'. We opted for the Ludovika penthouse with the magnificent panoramic view over the lake Constanz. Also a garage was available and we had plenty of place to separate work & holiday. Perfect working WiFi made our work easy as we have to run an internet businesses. Are you attracted by the pictures of the house? Well, once in the penthouse, the feeling of freedom, space and the warm interior is overwhelming. The lady of the house, Evi Haller, welcomed us warmly and took the time to: tell the story of the Mesmerhouse, give really interesting tips to see & do in the neighborhood. She even made a presentation folder for her guests which gives you shortly an overview of the possibilities in the region and, last but not least, addresses and so on for in case of emergency! Please, do try the culinary tips of Evi (restaurants & coffee-bars, ...). You will not be disappointed. And take your time to discover the beautiful village Bildstein itself with the baroque church (what a view again!) and the surroundings. And If you have the luck of a bad & rainy day (yes, luck!), relaxing, cooking, reading a book, ... in the Mesmerhaus will not be a punishment ;-)
